today is the 26th! i just came back from iHope EYC (eagles youth conference) @ acjc. it was GREAT, FANTASTIC AND REALLYY GOOD!:DD as in seriously. i learnt a lot and i felt god in the house. many many really holy people and all. ok. recount time.
i arrived at acjc pretty early. soon saw nicole, lynette and maxine. lyn and maxine are these nice girls from mg that i don't know. yeah. lyn is really nice as in like..yeah. maxine lives up to her bimbotic reputation. haha. but she's also really nice and funny.
so then we waited for our dearest soph and lenny (cute nickname eh) wei ran this other mg girl that i don't know was supposed to come and all but she didn't cos her mum didn't let her. so anyway then we went to get registered. my name wasn't on the list so i pretended to be Wei Ran. but they typed her name as WEI KAN. so i was wei kan. haha:DDD anyway then we went to the hall and all for worship and plenary 1 by Sy Rogers this super funny guy that's a real good speaker. clear voice, engaging and all. he told us his life story and all.
i'll type all sermon notes at the end. only the impt ones((:
so anyway then we went for conference #1: I CAN KEEP CLEAN IN A DIRTY WORLD by sy rogers. then was lunch. nasi lemak and ice cream x))
then was lecture #2:I CAN SHINE FOR GOD by maureen ng. who told us her pretty sad life story though it was a bit boring and soph started doodling on my iHOpe ntbk. she took up 7 pages in total.haha. OH yeah. i bought a nice nice red HOT ihope tee and badges and notebook for just $15. conference #3: Failure is not Final.
then we finished earlier so we were let out earlier. which meant 2.5 hrs for lunch. so then we decided to take a bus to holland V to eat there. so we ate swensons. i ate spaghetti! ps: the toilet there is hot if you know what i mean. then we talked a bit then decided to go back. we missed the bus stop because we thought the stupid bus would u turn but it didn't. so we ended up in the bus interchange. then lyn started to panic. maxine too. frightened by her bros stories etc. then we decided to go back in a cab lah. there was a bushy like thing behind us and it was pretty dark already. then maxine was scared that a bangla would suddenly jump out and i don't know assault us or kidnap us or something. haha then eventually we got a cab and the 6 of us squeezed. the taxi driver let us haha! soph rated the taxi driver 7/10 hot. haha. then we tipped him for being nice((: then we went for worship which was really good. SANG MANY NICE SONGS. i really felt god in the hall. oh yeah i saw amy, seeyue and kimberley there too. salt camp people((: worship was really moving i tell you. then lenny, lyn, maxine and nic left. so then sy rogers talked again but soph and i were kind of talking too. it was so darn freezing cold lah. yeah then we went home. i'm really pooped. ALL THOSE NON-CHRISTIANS CONVERT TO CHIRSTIANS. WE HAVE THE TRUE GOD. HE IS THE BEST. ALWAYS THERE FOR YOU EVERYTIME EVERYWHERE.
so anyway yeah. some sermon notes that well... you should know i guess.
- have HOPE in the lord.
- admit and submit your mistakes to christ lord.
- RUN to the lord not away from him. DEPEND on him
- only god can cleanse you from your sins.
- be a SUNBEAM for the lord
- failure is failing to heed god's word and the wisdom he has written down in the bible for you
- god wants from us:HOLINESS, HUMILITY, OBEDIENCE, SURRENDER, TO BE CHIRST-LIKE

yup. thbose are the very impt ones((: i'm so guai kia take down notes. anyway, remember mrs ang said CHERRY= VIRGINITY & FISH= PROSTITUTE.
well i told soph. then the speaker said peter (the fisherman) caught a lot of FISH. then we started cracking. then soph made a lame conversation between Romeo & Juliet.
J: i have lost my CHERRY to romeo!
R: i now have your CHERRY!
J: no! thy cherry!
LOL. and also there was a guy sleeping during the sermon and the speaker was like WAKE UP (part of his sermon) and the guy woke up. LOL. yeah iHope is really fun and beneficial and really good. makes you grow in christ etc. so come for the next iHope people. i bet it'll be smashing good((: chervelle you missed it)): so sad. it was really good. must go next time!
