today is the 26th! i just came back from iHope EYC (eagles youth conference) @ acjc. it was GREAT, FANTASTIC AND REALLYY GOOD!:DD as in seriously. i learnt a lot and i felt god in the house. many many really holy people and all. ok. recount time.
i arrived at acjc pretty early. soon saw nicole, lynette and maxine. lyn and maxine are these nice girls from mg that i don't know. yeah. lyn is really nice as in like..yeah. maxine lives up to her bimbotic reputation. haha. but she's also really nice and funny.
so then we waited for our dearest soph and lenny (cute nickname eh) wei ran this other mg girl that i don't know was supposed to come and all but she didn't cos her mum didn't let her. so anyway then we went to get registered. my name wasn't on the list so i pretended to be Wei Ran. but they typed her name as WEI KAN. so i was wei kan. haha:DDD anyway then we went to the hall and all for worship and plenary 1 by Sy Rogers this super funny guy that's a real good speaker. clear voice, engaging and all. he told us his life story and all.
i'll type all sermon notes at the end. only the impt ones((:
so anyway then we went for conference #1: I CAN KEEP CLEAN IN A DIRTY WORLD by sy rogers. then was lunch. nasi lemak and ice cream x))
then was lecture #2:I CAN SHINE FOR GOD by maureen ng. who told us her pretty sad life story though it was a bit boring and soph started doodling on my iHOpe ntbk. she took up 7 pages in total.haha. OH yeah. i bought a nice nice red HOT ihope tee and badges and notebook for just $15. conference #3: Failure is not Final.
then we finished earlier so we were let out earlier. which meant 2.5 hrs for lunch. so then we decided to take a bus to holland V to eat there. so we ate swensons. i ate spaghetti! ps: the toilet there is hot if you know what i mean. then we talked a bit then decided to go back. we missed the bus stop because we thought the stupid bus would u turn but it didn't. so we ended up in the bus interchange. then lyn started to panic. maxine too. frightened by her bros stories etc. then we decided to go back in a cab lah. there was a bushy like thing behind us and it was pretty dark already. then maxine was scared that a bangla would suddenly jump out and i don't know assault us or kidnap us or something. haha then eventually we got a cab and the 6 of us squeezed. the taxi driver let us haha! soph rated the taxi driver 7/10 hot. haha. then we tipped him for being nice((: then we went for worship which was really good. SANG MANY NICE SONGS. i really felt god in the hall. oh yeah i saw amy, seeyue and kimberley there too. salt camp people((: worship was really moving i tell you. then lenny, lyn, maxine and nic left. so then sy rogers talked again but soph and i were kind of talking too. it was so darn freezing cold lah. yeah then we went home. i'm really pooped. ALL THOSE NON-CHRISTIANS CONVERT TO CHIRSTIANS. WE HAVE THE TRUE GOD. HE IS THE BEST. ALWAYS THERE FOR YOU EVERYTIME EVERYWHERE.
so anyway yeah. some sermon notes that well... you should know i guess.
- have HOPE in the lord.
- admit and submit your mistakes to christ lord.
- RUN to the lord not away from him. DEPEND on him
- only god can cleanse you from your sins.
- be a SUNBEAM for the lord
- failure is failing to heed god's word and the wisdom he has written down in the bible for you
- god wants from us:HOLINESS, HUMILITY, OBEDIENCE, SURRENDER, TO BE CHIRST-LIKE

yup. thbose are the very impt ones((: i'm so guai kia take down notes. anyway, remember mrs ang said CHERRY= VIRGINITY & FISH= PROSTITUTE.
well i told soph. then the speaker said peter (the fisherman) caught a lot of FISH. then we started cracking. then soph made a lame conversation between Romeo & Juliet.
J: i have lost my CHERRY to romeo!
R: i now have your CHERRY!
J: no! thy cherry!
LOL. and also there was a guy sleeping during the sermon and the speaker was like WAKE UP (part of his sermon) and the guy woke up. LOL. yeah iHope is really fun and beneficial and really good. makes you grow in christ etc. so come for the next iHope people. i bet it'll be smashing good((: chervelle you missed it)): so sad. it was really good. must go next time!

i'm back from camp!(: yup. i came back yesterday but i was too lazy and tired to blog. so i'll just blog now(:
haha. so anyway ok. here goes!
DAY ONE
well... we started off by piecing a map of the mt. sinai area. our camp was some NE race thing(:. ne is national education FYI(: we were second. so we gathered at some HDB flats and waited for the bus to bring us to our next destination which was... REPUBLIC POLY! never heard of it before though. pretty big(:
DESTINATION 1: GAMELAN
so anyway,we played in a gamelan which is some ensemble thing. i played the Saron Barung, an instrument that looked a bit like a xylophone. metal instrument. super easy to play. yup(: and then we also tried the angklung and the djembe(spelling?). yup pretty fun lah. the person told us a story about some beautiful princess that loves on the mountain. then a sultan wants to marry her because she's very pretty. he gave her lots of gifts but she rejected it. and demanded lots of stuff and we were supposed to come out with the ending. so while the storyboard people came up with the story, another guy told us how about sound effects that could be made from instruments. when they were done OUR story started. yup. our ending was, the king burnt her house down and then pretended to comfort her. the princess was touched and married him. LOL. then she told us the REAL ending. then we went to eat. and we set off for destination number 2!
DESTINATION 2: FENCING
OMG. fencing was LOVE i tell you. it was supeeeerduperrrrrr fun i tell you! haha so anyway, first this funny coach called JAMES WONG aka James Bond, 007.5 told us some stuff about fencing. he was DARN DARN funny i tell you. i was laughing like siao. so then we split into groups. i got the other philippines fencer that played in the DOHA games. so pro right? haha anyway, he wasn't very funny but wasn't strict like the china olympics coach guy. then we learnt REST position and ON-GUARD position. then we learnt forward step, backward step and LUNGE! my fabourite haha. then we paired up and fenced the guy. i mean like he stood there and we POKED him! oh yeah there are 3 weapons-foil, epee and sabre. sabre was coolest but we didn't use it. we used the... foil i think. i was good at poking lor(: i poke super hard. ahhah. then after that we had a duel((: whee! i fenced with eli! i won 3-0 aha. but i poked the anus 3 times >< oops i didn't know. haha. it was really fun lah!
DESTINATION 3: BEIJING OPERA
no off.... it was boring. first we listened to some ppt presentation. then we could choose to dance or to play an instrument. the instruments were darn loud lah. my poor ears >< so i chose dancing. most people did that anw. eileen, eli and yu zhen went to BANGBANG!haha so anyway did some chinese dance thing which we repeated OVER AND OVER again. i was super duper sian lah. i got pissed & i anyhow did it:p then we had a combined performance with the instrument people. it was not bad. the guys look darn funny esp. einstein he was like putting on this serious face (which by the way looks DARN hilarious) and he was like striding so big. chervelle and i cracked when
i saw him. :DDDD
BACK TO SCHOOL
we beat 1J to school haha. so mr zein dismissed us for an early shower.(: OMG i totally hate showering lah. i mean actually i'm ok. but i hate the waiting!)): i waited 20 mins because no offence but the people in my class shower FREEEEEEEEAKING slow!): wa lao. they took like over 10 mins. i started shouting for people to hurry up. no off the people who hurry people take so long themselves. UGH! i took like 8 mins. it was hell trying to hang my clothes. i had to hang on pipes. there was ONLY 1 pathetic hook!)): i had to balance my comb on the door knob. after shower was dinner! which by the was tastes HORRIBLE. packaged food): i ate less than half of it and then threw the rest away.
after that we prepared for our cheer. actually we were given...3 hours. but i think we only used... at most 45 minutes and then we crapped around. played concentration and all. teachers came in to scold us like siao because we made lots of noise>< screaming shouting. you name it. we're the noisiest class in the level. should be. so then we had supper and headed to bed. lights out was delayed by an hour. because there was all the sleeping bag setting up blah. i was darn tired so i just slept and didn't talk much. i felt DEAD BEAT. and did i mention we showered so early that we started sweating within the three hours. we were jumping and having some illegal night walks. short ones lah. i was grumpy. i hate sleeping when i'm all sticky i kept complaining x((.

DAY 2
blah blah the usual waking up and changing. long queue in toilets x(
DESTINATION 1: INDIAN DANCE
we got the older teacher who was a bit irritating no off. she like kept telling her to repeat and repeat the dance): guys danced pretty funny x) haha. zheng nan looked like a gorilla and everyone looked like a chicken xDD but shanisca looked esp like onex) esp when we stomp our feets her bum is sticking out in my face x) haha shanisca! then after we were done, we watched the other half dance. they were coached by the younger teacher which they say was very nice anf funny ): i'm jealous then we performed for each other. yup. cher and me weren't very hungry and we started walking around. then dawn told us we were going to do silat after lunch. i'll tell you what it is later. we were like OMG and rushed in to buy carrot cake since it was pretty filling. we sneaked it onto the bus and ate secretly x) haha.
DESTINATION 2: SILAT
silat is like malay martial arts(: we had a tour and all then we looked at some weapons. only remember the PARANG(: hah. then we did some obstacle course which i was quite ok at(:i was fast at the ladder and jumping part. but not at the dodging poles thing(: it was fun. the female coach was super cute and funny. haha. then she and the other male coach taught us some stuff. like a routine which i didn't get and we did kicks too. elaine accidentally kicked the female coach's face instead of the whatever you call it thingy(: alvin was good haha. i think he was like the only one that got it x)
DESTINATION 3: MORAL TALK THING
we went back to school for some talk thing. 1J had been waiting like for 30 over minutes. x( so yeah we had some discussions blah blah.
other stuff
waied 30 minutes to shower. i got real pissed and impatient. people were like taking their own sweet time. UGH. then dinner and class prep for fusion night. we really prepared this time(: we did some skit. siang siang voice started cracking already. wen ning too. poor them x( yeah so then we did the indian dance and chinese dance thing. stupid boys (some) were crapping and so uncooperative.
talked for awhile then slept. pooped from all the exercise in the morning x)
DAY 3
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ELI;x!(:
went to singapore discovery centre. had a tour thing and some movie thing. fighter pilot. it was COOL(: but shanisca slept. haha. yu wei, dawnie, yiling and i were watching.(: lao shi thinks the commander is cute. LOL. okay lah X) then we had free and easy. went to little george and did news broadcasting. super cool and fun! shanisca was supposed to do it. then she got nervous and ran away so i had to do it ): i tried to drag her in to screen ): haha we did it 3 times. super fun! then talked to little george the robot. quite cite but ugly lah no off x(
then we came back to schhol to prepare for fusion night again. rehearsal. then it was FUSION NIGHT! whee(: it was pretty boring though. we screwed up our performance)): had some games and all. but i still screamed like siao! (: we turned our jerseys the other way around ahha(: that was cool :)
DAY 4
prize presentation then went home! we weren't first second or third. but that doesn't matter!(: i had fun! oh it was freaking. actually the boys were. something was so wrong. i was freaked out. WEI JIE AND TIMOTHY STARTED SWEEPING THE FLOOR. zomg. that was freaking though wei jie sweeps quite weirdly but he still did it. so helpful. usually they like either laze around or play soccer.

anyway yup. that's it. oh and PRINCESS YUE QI takes 1 hour 45 minutes to shower daily. ZOMG that is freeaking lonng. okay tored of typing.

I SO CANNOT WAIT FOR LEVEL CAMP MAN! it's gonna ROCK so bad(: i love packing for camps too ;DD . hahha. i know it's gonna be a blast. and BELTRIX is sure to DOMINATE! no off xDD but it's true.
