Tuesday, November 14, 2006 at 8:33 PM aloha people! it's 8.30pm now. just finished watching pck. yup. it was quite funny as usual.
anyway, SALT camp was really fun. soph zenn nicole carol and i were split up. but i was with nicole and we were in KINDNESS. yay. haha:D soph was in patience. carol was in compassion and zenn was in humility. hurhur. my group consists of me(: nicole sarah eugenia julia(al) wan xiang(al) and jeannette (group leader) eugenia is really funny esp when she imitates mrs yeo's goldfish eyes. julia was really nice. she always looked out for us. jeannette actually really nice. she quite funny and very understanding and she looks out for everyone in the group. nicole was retarded practically the whole time.
DAY 1:
we played lots of games. it was really fun:D and we learnt something after every game. we also went for service. uncle joseph was 'preaching'. he's really funny. hurhur. his laugh is really funny. sometimes its really high. so nicole and i would look and each other and start laughing as well. uncle joe is a great guy. he shares all his experiences with us and all plus he's funny. yup.
after that, we played this really fun game. it's like this blue waterproof thing and then they put soap and candies on it. there were 6 people in each group and we were numbered 1 2 3 4 5 6.
1 2 3 would grab as many candies as possible and pass it to 4 5 6. i was 5 by the way. when they stopped, 4 5 6 would go and grab the remaining sweets while 1 2 3 protect and steal each others sweets. julia was sitting on the sweets at this muddy area and she kept screaming because people were attacking her. so her butt and legs were all muddy:D hurhur
after that we went to shower but the toilet lights in our assigned toilets were not working so we ad to shower in darkness. after that, we went to KAP to buy groceries for our steamboat that night. the budget for each group was $35. so we started shopping. because jeann said that we were bunking in with patience we kind of shared food. eg. we buy fishballs and they buy chips so we share the fishballs and chips. yupp. i think you get it:D
after service, jeann told us we were bunking with humility then we were all sad. we as in patience and us because we wanted to bunk with them because the patience people are really wild, funny and dramatic(esp jing ting). so we had no choice but to bunk in with humility. not that we didn't want to but we prefered to bunk in with patience. so anyway eugenia, zenn nic and i like slept beside each other. we laughed quite a lot because we were acting lame and retarded. so we laughed and talked till 12 plus then the humility people wanted to sleep so we had to off all lights. then we decided to sleep.
DAY 2:
as usual games and service. jeann is a really holy person. she reads the bible and has quiet time everyday. she told us some things so that we could become stronger christians and be more 'connected' with god. oh yes, uncle joe also told us that POWER will help us be closer to god and all yupp.

yup. after that there was a brief on salt club 2007 and after that we took group pictures and left.
SALT seems really fun but i really don't know if i'm joining next year. the people there are really nice and all. SALT was really fun but i'm really tired now(: so... good nighties people!
